When mom and I decided it was time for her to sell her home and move in with us, we knew what we had in mind but didn't know who to call. We wanted to add 2 bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs in my nearly 100 year old cape cod, and add a 4 season sunroom on to the back of the house, connecting to moms bedroom on the main floor. After an extremely high estimate from another remodeling company, we thought our dream was just that, a dream. Then Mom found ReDesign Contractors on the internet, and she thought they sounded good because they were a family run business. She set up an appointment, and Carl came out to offer a free consultation and estimate. We told him what our ideas were, and he designed a plan that was exactly what we wanted. He worked with us to make sure it was within our financial limits, really going above and beyond.

Our addition upstairs consists of a master bedroom with a walk in closet, a smaller bedroom and a full bath. The upstairs also has its own heating and cooling system. The sunroom on the main floor is a four season room. In addition to the newly added areas, our electrical system was upgraded. This included the removal of some old knob and tube wiring, and the installation of a new 220 volt service. A larger gas line was installed, and plumbing was also upgraded. In order to complete this renovation and addition, some demolition needed to be done to remove an old garage, work shop and shed. Carl oversaw all aspects of this job, from start to finish.

Carl is a very kind and compassionate man, and his crew including his son Steve, follow his lead. From the day they started our job, until it was completed, there was a real concern for our comfort and safety. The guys worked through the weekend to make sure our roof was closed in before the rain came. They came to work every day on time, and worked diligently all while being very courteous and respectful. There was always someone available to contact in case of an emergency or question. They were trustworthy, helpful, and felt like family!

The quality of workmanship and the pride they show for the work they do is more than we could have hoped for. On a scale of 1 - 10, I'd give them an 11!! We were truly blessed to have found Carl and his crew, and we will definitely be calling them back to remodel our kitchen, now that Mom's home has sold.

We were recommended to use ReDesign Contractors by friends of ours. Our first visit through to the end of the construction went perfectly. Carl showed us what our kitchen and bathroom would look like when finished. He took his time and worked with us to get it exactly to what we wanted. The men were there everyday at 7:30 and worked the entire day. When we arrived home from work, we saw a lot accomplished. The men were very respectful and never did we feeluncomfortable leaving them in our house. Carl was always available to answer questions and explain what the next steps were. We are getting ready to do a bathroom, bedroom, and living room over and are excited to have Carl and his guys come back. We know they will do as beautiful of a job in those rooms as they did in our other rooms. It's hard to find a contractor that will not rip your home apart and then not show up for days. This will not happen with ReDesign Contractors. We HIGHLY recommend them to every one that is looking for a good, reliable and trustworthy contractor.
